I was delighted to be invited along to photograph for Limitlass 2025. This was an opportunity to capture the raw energy of mountain bikers amidst the serenity of nature. Set against the lush, rugged backdrop of Perthshire, my goal was to document not just the sport, but the spirit of the women who define it.

Through this series, I explored the contrast between the intense focus required for steep climbs and technical descents, and the genuine warmth of the community off the bike. By utilizing natural light and dynamic angles, I aimed to pull the viewer into the action, reflecting the vitality and determination of the riders. From the adrenaline of the trails to the laughter and community spirit, this collection is a tribute to the athletic skill and supportive culture of women’s mountain biking.
